- The Airdrie Festival of Lights has always been committed to providing an affordable, family friendly Christmas Festival of Lights experience for the people of Airdrie and Southern Alberta, which is suitable for all ages! At the same time provide a venue in which other non-profit organizations can raise funds for their activities. We offer a unique fundraising program for local youth groups and other not for profit organizations in exchange for volunteer hours. Last year we had eight different fundraising groups that helped them earn more than $4,500 towards their own programming. If your group would like to apply, download the Group Application Form then send it to us using the online form.

- 2018 marks the 20th season of Steven’s Run. 20 years ago, at a very young age Steven was diagnosed with a terminal illness. His one wish was to view Christmas Lights, and visit the Airdrie Festival of Lights. While plans were made, sadly Steven lost his battle, and was unable to take the trip. In his honour, Steven’s Run wablus created, with his brother taking the first trip. Every year, since then, and in partnership with several agencies, a child who is facing a terminal illness, along with their family is provided “a night off”. In an effort to offer as much privacy to our families, we do not advertise the date or time of Steven’s Run.
