Rebecca’s ticket was drawn on Sunday, December 23 at the Festival, in front of a small crowd which included our friend Santa Claus.
Our sincere thanks to everyone who bought a ticket. Even if your ticket was not drawn, you’re still a winner because proceeds of the raffle help the Rainbow Society and the Airdrie Festival of Lights Society.

Mattamy Home’s Playhouse Raffle Official Rules

Anyone over 18 years of age is eligible to purchase a ticket, but the winner must be a resident of Alberta.
Ticket sellers will advise Adult ticket buyers not to write the name of a person under 18 years of age on the ticket.
The raffle is open to everyone, including volunteers and all associated staff/ family members of the Airdrie Festival of Lights Society and The Rainbow Society of Alberta.
The draw will be held at The Airdrie Festival of Lights located at Nose Creek Park, Main Street, in Airdrie, Alberta on December 23, 2012 at 6:30pm.
All names will be put into the draw from ticket stubs. Winner does not have to be present.
Only one ticket will be drawn for the prize of a custom built Mattamy Homes Children’s Playhouse with an approximate value of $2000.00.
Prize must be accepted as awarded, no cash alternatives will be awarded.
If the winner cannot be located within 30 days after the draw, an alternate ticket will be drawn from the remaining ballots.
Ticket sales are final and no refunds will be given, unless raffle is cancelled.
A minimum of 100 tickets must be sold prior to requesting an extension to draw date.
In the event a winning ticket stub has more than one name on it, The Airdrie Festival of Lights Society shall award the prize to only one of the individuals identified on the ticket, and that the licensed non-profit society and the AGLC are not responsible for any disputes which may arise between the different individuals whose names appear on the ticket stub.
Awarded prize includes delivery of the playhouse at no charge before noon on December 24, 2012 within 100 kms of The Airdrie Festival of Lights.
Additional charges may apply:
- If the delivery address is outside of these limits,
- It cannot be delivered before noon on December 24, 2012.
- If there is limited access for delivery; i.e. the playhouse needs to be disassembled and reassembled or lifted over an obstruction to put it in place.

Tickets on the Playhouse are available at the Festival Train Station. And, you can buy a raffle ticket without buying a train ticket. In some cases, we may be able to make arrangements to provide tickets outside the Festival grounds, assuming all of the raffle licensing terms are valid.
