While there are no admission fees to enter the park, donations are gratefully accepted (suggested contribution is $10 - $20 per family, and $1 - $5 per person on a bus). Festival ambassadors are located at our three brightly coloured Guard Houses, as well as our various Mascots with Jingle Jugs throughout the park, to cheerfully accept your donations!
Are you a large group or charter bus company? Let us help you make the most of your visit. Pre-book your outing with us and we can offer an ambassador to meet your group when you arrive, as well as the ability to pre-purchase hot chocolate and train ride tickets. For more information, please contact our Coordinator.
The Airdrie Festival of Lights glows every night, from December 1st – 31st, from 6pm – 9pm. Including Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Year’s Eve.
We are able to run every night thanks to our many volunteers, but there are many spots that need to be filled. In particular we are in need of volunteers for Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Eve. To find out what's available, pop into the Volunteer Trailer at the park any evening (This will give you a good idea of how we do things) or send a message to our Volunteer Coordinator, Kristen Wallace at firstname.lastname@example.org Remember, we Can't Glow Without You!
PLEASE NOTE for the safety of our volunteers, in extreme cold (below -25 celcius) not all venues/activities may be operational, however the lights are always on!
Our mandate has always been to provide the residents of Airdrie and surrounding communities, a Family and Budget Friendly experience to be enjoyed by all! To stay as low cost as possible, we rely on your donations to keep us glowing! Therefore, admission is by cash donation. There are three brightly colored Toy Soldier Guard Houses situated around the park, for you to donate. Or if you happen to see our Jingle Jugs roaming, you can drop your donation with them as well!
Can I Bring My Pet? Pets on leashes are always welcome at the Airdrie Festival of Lights. Licensed Service Animals specifically trained to aid a person are welcome throughout the park, however, please be advised that Pets are not allowed in the Festival Tent, where food may be served.
Kindly pick up after your pets.
